STORIES4SCHOOLS provides an opportunity for UK schools to create an illustrated storybook to be shared with children in another part of the world.

Students learn about the children that will receive their books and then create stories and illustrations for them. Their work is professionally finished to create a beautiful book.

The school can organise a Book Launch event and sell copies of their book to raise funds towards the cost of printing and sending copies to their partner school.

Over two thousand books have been donated to schools and children’s projects in countries including Uganda, Malawi and India. The books are used by children to develop their English language skills and for many children are the first storybook they own.

STORIES4SCHOOLS provides a rich learning experience for students to create something with a genuine purpose. Schools can link their involvement to the International School Award, the Artsmark and use their books to evidence creative teaching and project based learning.
